Why am I waiting

What have I been seeking

cause whatever it is I am doing,

doesn’t seem like it will soon be ending

I am so tired of doing things after

people tell me and validate whether

something’s good for me or not but then I remember,

shouldn’t I be the one to decide and put the pieces together

It’s my time to actually grow up

and no one can stop or mess me up

cause in the end, I will always know how to hold up
